Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Lord Norman Foster of Foster + Partners, the Zayed National Museum’s design is inspired by the wings of a falcon in flight, symbolizing freedom, strength, and Emirati heritage. The museum features five soaring steel towers, each serving as natural air chimneys to promote sustainable cooling — a marvel of green engineering blended with symbolism.

The museum’s layout also includes Al Masar Garden, a 600-meter landscaped outdoor gallery that connects the Louvre Abu Dhabi with the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, featuring native flora, sculptures, falaj irrigation systems, and a timeline tracing Sheikh Zayed’s life.
