You might have noticed that colourful ad where India’s superstar runs behind his clothes across Abu Dhabi. Or the one where a charming Liu Yifei, the Chinese -American star wishes she packed more as she went around doing various activities. These ads are part of the Department of Culture & Tourism Abu Dhabi’s ‘Can’t Wait to Winter’ global campaign  featuring where they promise an Abu Dhabi full of events, activities and of course the perfect weather.

Throughout multiple ads you see Ranveer Singh, Liu Yifei, and the Gulf region’s comedic duo Dawood Hussein and Hasan Al Ballam interacting with the culture, adventure, relaxation, culinary delights, and shopping in Abu Dhabi. While watching the ads many times, some places caught our eye and we wanted to share with the world five of the iconic places in Abu Dhabi, as shown in the new ad campaign.

1) Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel As Ranveer Singh’s clothes take off to explore Abu Dhabi, you see that he is staying at the Emirates Palace Hotel. Its iconic Dome sets pace for the entire Arabian nightish video. The  Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental is the epitome of luxury in Abu Dhabi, located on a pristine private beach.

2) Seaworld, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

Liu Yifei twirls her way under a school of fishes in what can only be seen as a dream. Yet it is not. She was at the Seaworld located in Yas Island. The region's first marine life theme park where more than 100,000 animals, 75 interactive experiences and rides waits.

This is the first Seaworld to be located outside of the United States. The park features eight marine environments or"realms" that are home to immersive experiences and interactive exhibits.

3) The Louvre Museum

As Liu makes her way through Abu Dhabi, we can immediately notice the iconic ceiling of the Louvre Museum. Located on Saadiyat Island, the Louvre was born out of an agreement signed between France and the United Arab Emirates, bringing the historically significant Louvre name to Abu Dhabi. It's the first universal museum in the Arab world.

It houses 100 masterpieces of contemporary art collections including Important pieces like Oriental Bliss by Paul Klee and Fountain of light by Ai Weiwei. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the Pritzker Architecture Prize winner, the Louvre’s architecture is iconic and gorgeous, an archipelago built in the sea. This is a place that celebrates the ever-changing relationship between sun, sea, art and architecture.

4) Jubail Mangrove Island

Another place we see as Ranveer Singh chases behind his clothes is the Jubail Mangrove Island. This is the first self-contained educational, nature and leisure destination of its kind in Abu Dhabi. It's a glorious haven for avian and marine species native to Abu Dhabi. But the beauty of its prominent mangrove sanctuary surpasses all.

A meandering boardwalk that takes you across the mangroves, the year-round activities that include music, theatre, sports, and outdoor markets and its pristine beaches are some of the many highlights of the island.

5) Qasr Al Watan

While Ranveer is running around, Liu Yifei is calm and taking it all in as she enters the Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace of UAE. It's architectural beauty and history is captured by the ad very well. Qasr Al Watan is an enriching interactive experience that reveals and reflects on governance, knowledge and craftsmanship of the Arab world.
